Vensa One steps back in three tiers as it climbs its 30 storeys — the work of Andy Fischer Workshop, one of Singapore's leading architects, with Envelope Technik consulting on the facade. Double-height cutouts open the wall at three different heights, the last of them at the crown, making room for lavish lobbies; a signature fin and an aluminium blade column complete the composition.
The scope: 19,000 Sqm of unitized curtain wall, 15,000 m of fins and 2,000 Sqm of blade column, with varying floor heights and laminated unitized curtain walls at the step terraces.
We worked with the developer for two years in the design stage — exclusively — running mock-up after mock-up to fine-tune the design before the project was awarded. The wall now heads for a performance mock-up of 12-plus tests to one of the most stringent requirement sets, including the 400 mm fin and an oversize operable panel.
An ultra-premium lighting design and other light elements are sure to have a wow element when revealed.
