The project
Isuzu's plant at Sri City was built by Shimizu Corporation, one of Japan's largest contractors, and Sun Glazing delivered the envelope to the Office and Canteen buildings — with no visible steel permitted, and 7-metre mullions, in a cyclonic belt.
The scope: stick curtain wall, ACP cladding in two systems, stainless-steel entrance doors, aluminium windows and anodized Z-type louvers, with 10 tons of structural steel.
